When should my child first see a dentist?
A first visit once the first teeth appear, or by around the first birthday, helps catch problems early and gets your child used to the dentist.
Do milk teeth need fillings if they will fall out anyway?
Often yes. A decayed milk tooth can hurt and get infected, and losing it too early can affect how the adult teeth come in.
