Braces or aligners?

| Fixed braces | Brackets fixed to the teeth and joined by a wire. Suitable for most cases, including complex ones. |
| Clear aligners | A series of clear, removable trays. Hard to notice and easy to take out for eating and brushing. They must be worn most of the day to work. |

- Avoid hard and sticky food with braces
- Wear aligners for the hours advised
- Wear your retainer as instructed after treatment, or teeth can move back
